BFL / De-haired Llama Swirl Roving
BFL / De-haired Llama Swirl Roving
This blend is composed mostly of white BFL (80%) swirled with de-haired dove-gray llama fiber from our finest-fibered llama, Ephraim. It is will spin and work up similar to 100% BFL, but with a bit of added silkiness and heathering for interest.

100% De-haired Llama Roving
This extraordinary roving is medium brown with a slightly peachy undertone. Cloud soft and very clean. There are a very small number of remaining guard hairs, but they are white and easily removed during spinning. Created from a first shearing fleece from a llama under 24 months of age.

Red-Brown llama roving
The source animals of this roving have more guard hair than the de-haired roving, making this a more durable, beefier yarn, but not as soft. We use it for knitted slippers, outer wear and rugs.
