One of the very first, much sought-after sons of “Toby,” Mazama was worth waiting for. He will begin breeding in the spring of 2011.

Once he is proven, Mazama will be available for a limited number of outside breedings.

Yanaqui

DOB: 10-6-1991 (deceased April 2010, of natural causes)

From Al and Sondra Ellis, Highline Trails Llamas, Boulder, WY.

Yanaqui worked in Highline Trails’ pack string for all of his adult life. When he reached 17, Al decided to let him retire to a less demanding setting. His name appears on a large percentage of the pedigrees at Highline, including that of some of the Al’s best studs. He is much missed back in WY but equally appreciated here in MI, where he has helped establish on of the first true Classic/ Ccara breeding programs in the Midwest. His offspring exhibit excellent frame, bone and structure. They have wonderful, workable personalities as well. We feel lucky to have the last ones.
