Pitchfork 1360 AI “Bob”

This boy is a tank: wide, capacious and powerful. He is excellent on his feet and legs,, long and wide of loin, square-built and very typey in pigment. His topline is level and his mouth perfect. All covered in an outstanding fleece. We love his calm, affable disposition. His first lambs will be born in 2026.

1360 represents one half of his’s dam’s swan song as our best BFL stud ewe to date; she will enjoy a well-deserved retirement here. His sire, Derwenlas L1 (UK) has produced outstanding lambs for us and other breeders fortunate enough to purchase straws. 1360 is a full brother to Pitchfork 1274, whose job he took in 2025. Like his brother, 1360 was named Best of Breed at the 2025 North American Hill Breeds Show, which Derwen won in 2024.
