We sell clean, well-skirted, premium fleeces. They are guaranteed to be as described or your money back (including shipping!). The price listed is for the entire fleece. Shipping (via USPS Priority Mail unless requested otherwise) is extra and depends upon the destination. You can estimate shipping cost from our ZIP code (48473) to yours at the U.S. Postal Service website. Keep in mind that the box will add about 1.5 lbs to the shipping weight.
All fleeces are shorn and stored in a smoke-free environment.
If you would prefer to receive a ready-to-spin product, we can take the fleece directly to Zeilinger’s Wool Processing in not-too-distant Frankenmuth, MI, for a small fee ($10 to cover gas) thereby saving one shipping charge (if you plan to ship it out for processing). Their website is www.zwool.com .
Fleeces are marked as SOLD when we have received payment. Fleeces marked RESERVED have been spoken for, but payment has not yet been received. They may still be available if the interested party does not follow through. We accept Paypal, personal check and money orders. Email us for our mailing address.
Fleeces are either shorn blanketed (covered while growing during the hay-feeding season) or pastured (uncovered while the sheep is on pasture, therefore no hay contamination). All are well-skirted.
Romney Lamb Fleeces
Please note that because of their rapid growth, our lambs are not blanketed. However, these fleeces are extremely clean, first shearings from lambs born in the spring of the current year. Gender makes no difference at this point - ewe lamb and ram lamb fleeces are the same.
PFR 932 6.20 lbs, 5.75" staple length. Shorn December 2016. Unblanketed fleece.
An outstanding lamb fleece: perfectly formed medium lock and crimp, lustrous and long stapled. Small amount of VM, so particular handspinners may want to have this one mill-processed.

Natural Colored Romney Fleeces
Malcolm 10.60 lbs, 5.00" staple length. Shorn April 2016. Unblanketed fleece.
A big dark silver ram fleece exhibiting beautiful lock crimp and luster. It's being offered at a bargain because of its size and lack of blanketing (a bit of weathering at tips), but it is perfect for a big project. Well skirted, small mount of VM.
Dinah 6.70 lbs, 5.00" staple length. Shorn April 2016. Blanketed fleece.
This ewe's fleece has fined out and softened up as she ages, typical of what we see in older ewes. She still a fairly dominant figure at the feed bin, so the luster and soundness is still there, along with excellent crimp formation. Covered and clean.
PFR 780 11.20 lbs, 5.00" staple length. Shorn December 2016. Unblanketed fleece.
This big girl was covered all summer and early fall until her coat ripped right after we put out hay on the big bale feeder. There is a small amount of VM in a limited section of fleece, so it might not be ideal for very particular spinners who want to process their own fleece. It will still turn out quite nicely if mill processed. It is big, dense and quite soft. The color striking.
Bluefaced Leicester Fleeces
All unblanketed, but extremely clean (we find blanketing causes cotting or felting at the tips on BFLs).
