Romney Lambs For Sale
We are now taking deposits on 2012 lambs.
Please note that, with a couple of exceptions, the lambs were photographed with minimal cleanup and fitting, just enough to give viewers a fair look at the animal. Our lambs are allowed to roam the pasture or shelter in a three-sided shed; they are not confined to a barn or drylot. They consume grain, grass and hay, although the hay is minimal while the pastures are green. Under most circumstances, our ram lambs have proven capable of breeding in their first season.
We may also have a limted number of “pet” quality lambs available, priced accordingly. Please contact us for more information.
We deliver free to the Maryland Sheep and Wool Festival in May and Rhinebeck in October. We can usually arrange delivery to other events.

This set of twins is growthy and correct, with good black points and sound feet and legs. The fleece is more open in style. They have an average daily gain of over .8 lb. at 60 days. Mom is one of our top ewes. In the photo, 673 is on the left and 674 in in the middle. Dam is on the right.
We have decided to keep 673. Her twin 674 is available.

Any excellent ewe lamb with perfect black points and solid conformation. It's a bit early to judge the fleece, but it is developing good crimp and lock so far. Her average daily gain at 30 days was almost .6 lb.

This is an exceptionally nice ram lamb. He'll be a bit of a sleeper because of his age relative the rest of our NC ram lambs, but his fleece is promising great things at this point. Solidly built on correct feet and legs, he has an average daily gain of .84 lb. at 30 days.

Another very nice ewe lamb with solid conformation. Her nose is very dark gray, no pink showing. As with her twin, it's a bit early to judge the fleece, but it is developing good crimp and lock so far. She is growing faster than her twin; her average daily gain at 30 days was almost .73 lb.
